i just got this idea and made it in 2 days :P
Optimize, optimize
1st, you should animate the lazer, not make it do Math.sin/cos every frame. 2nd, the rockets should head at the closest to angle, not position, enemy. 3rd, the units are hand drawn!

I see you made the car rotate around the back wheel... How clever. I suggest you experiment with balancing with _rotation if 1 wheel hits the ground or _y if both. Ofcourse, that would take a longer car. That way you could add better physics and stuff.

10 for epic-ness
You have a good way to make stuff look epic! Followed by a simple game... Try to make the graphics flash, redraw on top of imported pics or something. The game would go much smoother, thus could be complexer. That would be awesome.
